Brasada Ranch was a great project we got to be a part of in Central Oregon. This home is a new build, contracted by Mike Knighten Construction. We fabricated and designed Cabinetry for the Kitchen, Master Bathroom, 2 Guest Baths, Closet System, Laundry Room and a couple other small cabinets in the Office and Living Room.
For this project we used clear Alder in a horizontal grain pattern with a gray finish.
For the Range hood, we sourced some reclaimed Cedar from a fellow in Washington who’s been collecting old barn wood. The Cedar came from an old dairy farm around the Chehalis area.
It’s all about the details. This is where we like to have a lot fun and add our own creativity.

The Bathrooms were all fun sets of cabinets to build as each room had it’s own design. In the Master Bath we added a shallow depth open counter-top cabinet as a divider between the double sinks.

In the Hall Bathroom we designed a freestanding furniture style vanity. This may have been my favorite piece to build on this project.

The Laundry Room and the Master closet we built out of a textured laminate. We wanted the cabinetry to really stand out in the other areas of the home so we went with a different product in the less public areas.
To finish the project off, we were asked to design a wall feature around the fireplace, something that would really stand out and create a statement. Our Client really liked these gray stained pine planks from Blended Metal and Wood in Bend, and wanted it to run up the fireplace wall. We incorporated the tile from the kitchen to surround the fireplace below the Mantle and ran the Pine planks to the ceiling keeping a painted border on each side. To the left we built a floating shelf for a Tv and an enclosed cabinet for the cable and internet devices. This was a really fun way to finish off this project.
